Family Self-Sufficiency Case Manager

Pay Rate: $39,227 ($18.86/hr.) - $49,035 ($23.57/hr.)

Summary of Job Duties
Recruit, screen, and interview prospective participants in the program, and enroll new participants. Identify needs and barriers to achieving goal, and plan for removal of barriers and needs. Provide counseling and guidance to residents to assist them in reaching the goal of self-sufficiency. Regularly meet with participants to provide training and individual assessment of progress, including credit repair assistance, assisting with making application for educational grants and scholarships and jobs. Serve as case worker for participants to complete re-examinations, interim examinations, verify information, and make adjustments based on information received.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in social sciences, business administration, education, or closely related field plus 2 years of work experience in human services, case management, or social work, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • Valid Driving License
  • Ability to be insured under the Authority's vehicle policy
  • Certification in Family Self-Sufficiency (Must be completed within 1 year of employment)
