Summary of Job Duties
Manage the day-to-day operation of assigned property(ies), in accordance with established regulations and guidelines, and monitor contracted projects at assigned property(ies). Rent properties, process evictions, and make court appearances as needed. Receive requests for repairs, generate and close work orders. Monitor budget. Prepare reports of activities and fiscal status. Oversee and coordinate resident services offered at the site, including meals, activities, health education, etc. Coordinate maintenance work through the use of on-site maintenance personnel. Maintain continued occupancy by conducting inspections to ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations, and conducting inspections to ensure that all equipment is in proper working order and that vacant apartments are ready for occupancy.  Perform compliance activities by maintaining records, preparing reports, and participating in onsite audits, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, social science area, or related field plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience in housing management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in property management must include project-based vouchers, HUD Multifamily (PBRA), Tax Credit properties, HOME program property management, etc., and experience involving public contact is preferred. Training in housing management, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, HOME program, etc., is required and must be successfully completed within 12 months of employment.

  • Ability to be insured under the Authority's vehicle policy
