Summary of Job Duties
Oversee the accounting and information services functions of the Authority, including preparing and monitoring budgets, receipts and disbursements, recommending investments, and the preparation of related reports, both special and routine. Manage and provide human resources related functions of the Authority, such as payroll and benefits. Resolve issues with Lindsey Software, landlords, program participants, and employees. Assist in the formulation of plans and programs, evaluation of existing programs, and establishment of organization goals as a member of the Authority's administrative management team. Represent the Authority at meetings, with HUD and local government officials, and fill in for the Executive Director, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience in public/governmental, housing authority accounting, which includes a minimum of two years of supervisory experience, planning, and fiscal responsibility, and proficient in the use of Excel and computers in maintaining records. CPA certification preferred.

  • Ability to be insured under the Authority's vehicle policy
