What You Need to Know BEFORE Applying 

Public Housing Applications will be taken at Jefferson County Housing Authority (Fultondale Office) at 2100 Stoney Brook Lane, Fultondale, AL 35068.

Application Opens: July 15, 2025, at 8:00 AM
Application Close: July 17, 2025, at 4:00 PM

Tuesday, July 15, 2025, and ending Thursday, July 17, 2025, you may pick up a Public Housing Application from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, or you may print off an application via our website's APPLY NOW page.

• Brookside Village
• Fultondale Village
• Hickory Grove
• Red Hollow

You can drop off the application with the requested documents at the Fultondale Office, or email them to agray@jcha.com.

Only 200 applications will be accepted until July 17th.

Must be 18 years of age to apply.

Applications should have the proper Identification, which includes:

• State Driver's License, State ID or Military ID
• Verification of current income (SS, SSI, pensions, etc.) and/or proof of employment (two consecutive pay stubs if paid bi-weekly, four if paid weekly, and one if paid monthly)

Applicants already on the waiting lists for other housing programs must apply separately for this program and such applicants will not lose their place on other waiting lists when they apply for public housing.

Directions to the Fultondale Office
Take I-65 North and exit at Walker Chapel Road. Take a left crossing back over the interstate. Take the first left which takes you into public housing community. The community center will be two blocks down on the right. 2100 Stoney Brook Lane, Fultondale, AL 35068.
